VANESSA WEISZ is a multi-genre singer, songwriter, artist, actress from Slovakia, musically fusing together dreamy pop melodies with a dash of electronics, blues, house and soft-rock. In 2021, she put out her first collection of songs (Wisdom Tooth (Mixtape)), which earned her both, nominations in the Radio_Head Awards in categories “Album of the Year”, “Debut of the Year” and “Song of the Year” from Slovak national radio and international recognition, especially with her chill melancholic song “California dream”, which quickly hit more than 1 million streams on Spotify alone. In 2022 she put out an EP “u were a fucked up fantasy”, from which the song “fuck yeah no please” made its placement in the original soundtrack for the movie “I Don’t Like You Anymore” by Zdeněk Jiráský. She's played festival such as Sharpe (Slovakia), 66h (Slovakia), UKM Arktisk Festivalen (Norway) and made her Prague premiere in Palace Akropolis in November 2024. She's also part of a collaborative DJ project TRANSFARE with kub0 and Whithe, focusing on electronic club music. BRB Vanessa is currently working on her debut album COPING MECHANISMS, set to come out in the upcoming months.
